Students' Voice

Ninah Juminah(From Indonesia)
2018 October course (1.5year), The path: Maebashi Medical and Welfare College (Carewoker Department)
-What do you think about Mirai Gakuen?
I think Mirai Gakuen is a beautiful school with a spacious auditorium and a Japanese style room.
There are many Japanese students as well as international students, so I could have many opportunities to use Japanese.

-What is the most difficult part of studying Japanese?
Kanji and grammar were difficult for me. Particles are especially hard because there are so many different types of them.
But the teachers were eager to teach me in a way that was easy to understand.

-What's the most memorable thing for you?
It's a school festival that takes place every fall.
At the Mirai -sai(school festival), students perform dances, songs, and there are plenty of Japanese food at a refreshment booth.
In 2019, I also performed an Indonesian dance with my classmates. It was a very good memory.

-What surprised you when you came to Japan?
When I came to Japan, I was surprised to see so many buttons on the toilet.
At that time, I couldn't read the kanji yet, so I was very nervous because I didn't know what the buttons meant.

-Message to the juniors
You may be confused about life in Japan or busy with your part-time job,but during class, please do your best to study without falling asleep!
It's also important to preparation and review at home!

I also have fond memories of joking with my classmates in Japanese.

-What surprised you when you came to Japan?
When I came to Japan for the first time I was surprised at all the kanji at the airport.
I have been studying hard both at school and at home, I can now read more kanji and enjoy living in Japan.

-What will you do after you graduate from Mirai Gakuen?
I am going on to Gunma Automobile College.

In the future, I hope to obtain a national certification as a mechanic and get a job repairing cars.
